This page walks through how entries get published, how we handle a review that turns out to be wrong, and where to go if you need a hand with something specific. If your question is about a particular job, a suburb, or a business you have already dealt with, start here and follow the link that fits.
Most of what lands in our inbox is the same handful of things: how a review gets published, what we do with a bad experience, and where to go if you just want to talk to a person. Here is the short version.
Locals do. Households around Blacktown, Marayong, Seven Hills and the rest of Western Sydney send in what happened when they booked a plumber, a mechanic, a cleaner or a phone repair kiosk. We edit for clarity and dates, not for tone. If someone had a rough job, that stays in.
No. There is no sponsored ranking and no paid badge. Entries sit in the order they were published, sorted by suburb and job type. If a listing looks like an ad, it is not ours.
The basics help most: what was quoted, how long the job took, whether the final invoice matched, and the suburb. A photo of the shopfront or the work van is useful too. Skip the invoice numbers and anything personal about the people who did the job.
Usually a few days. We check the dates and the job type, tidy the wording, and publish it with the month it was submitted. We do not sit on entries waiting for a business to respond.
Yes, as long as it is specific. "They were terrible" tells a neighbour nothing. "Quoted two hours, took six, and the price went up at the end" is the kind of note that actually helps someone decide.
Send it through the contact page and we will answer directly. If you are wondering how we handle the details you send us, the privacy notes cover that.
Most people arrive here after reading a review and wanting one more detail, or after a job that did not go the way the entry described. Either way, there is a real inbox behind this page, checked on weekdays. If your question is already answered somewhere on the site, the FAQ is usually the quicker route.
Best for sending a review, a photo of a shopfront or work van, or a correction to an entry that has gone out of date.

Still unsure where your question fits? The FAQ walks through how reviews are collected, what gets left out, and what happens when a business disputes an entry. If it is not covered there, use the contact details above and we will point you to the right place.
